Job Description DUTIES SUMMARY The BCBA Fieldwork Supervisor
provides fieldwork supervision and documentation oversight for BCBA
and RBT candidates, compliant with Behavior Analyst Certification
Board (BACB) supervision requirements. Supports the professional
development and certification progress of assigned candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Operate as an hourly contractor with variable
hours based on program needs. Provide in-person supervision to
assigned BCBA and RBT candidates in accordance with BACB
requirements. Observe candidates in classroom and home-based early
childhood education settings and provide structured feedback.
Document and maintain accurate records of certified supervision
hours, supervision activities, competencies, and progress as
required. Ensure candidates meet all BACB-required supervision
elements, including appropriate task list coverage and ethics
components. Provide performance feedback and mentorship to support
the development of professional competencies in ABA. Participate in
meetings or check-ins related to fieldwork progress and supervision
quality. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Master’s degree in
psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field
required OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 1 year of experience
providing fieldwork supervision to BCBA and/or RBT candidates
Minimum 2 years of experience delivering behavior support services
to children with developmental or behavioral needs, preferably in
early childhood education or home-based settings Prior experience
working with underserved or culturally diverse populations
preferred Knowledge of BACB supervision standards and documentation
requirements Ability to observe and assess candidate competencies
and provide structured, objective feedback Strong organizational
and time management skills, and the ability to coordinate with
supervisees with varying schedules Familiarity with trauma-informed
practices in early learning environments Effective verbal and
written communication skills for feedback, documentation, and
collaboration with program staff Ability to work independently and
on-site across multiple ECE program locations Sensitivity to the
service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. CERTIFICATES,
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must hold an Active certification as a
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the
Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office programs in a Windows environment, including Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
