- Conduct research and engineering in AI and machine learning to
enable Embodied AI (including vision, autonomous planning,
open-world learning) for domains like autonomous driving,
industrial automation, and robotics.
- Advance perception and planning for automated driving,
integrating vision-language-action models to enhance reasoning and
explainability.
- Collaborate globally to transfer research into Bosch's
operational units.
- Implement research results to solve practical challenges and
ensure high-quality system integration.
- Stay current with technological trends through conferences,
seminars, and events.
- Publish research findings and file patents as appropriate.Basic
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field, or
Master's with ---1/3 years industry experience.
- At least 3 years of R&D experience in AI, Computer Vision,
and robotics or automotive motion planning.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, or
Rust.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with multimodal transformer-based
models.
- Knowledge of vision-language-action models like MoE, GPR, LoRA,
etc.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product development and deployment of autonomous
systems.
- Expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and related areas
like multimodal transformers, NeRF, object detection, 3D
understanding, sensor calibration, etc.
- Strong publication record in top journals and
conferences.Compensation and BenefitsThe U.S. salary range is
$160,000 - $200,000, dependent on experience and other factors.
