Job Description:The CT Technologist is responsible for providing safe patient care, assisting the physician during procedures, performing CT procedures under the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist, and providing a safe procedure environment for patients undergoing invasive procedures.Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology -- Required
• Certificate -Venipuncture -- Required---Experience:
  • 2 years Healthcare/Medical General x-ray - RequiredCertifications/Licensures:
    • Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT) Current California - Required
    • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
    • Rad Techs - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required
    • CT Computed Tomography - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Must be Obtained within 6 months of hire for new hiresSkills:
      • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
