our Northern California archaeological team. This position can be
based out of any of our Nor-Cal offices and will report to our
On-Call Staff Supervisor in the Petaluma office. Work will take
place throughout California, with potential opportunities in the
Alaska, Oregon, and Nevada. This is a fieldwork position and work
need is heavily influenced by the seasonal weather. On occasion,
there may be opportunity for office and/or lab-based work.Your Key
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in identifying and recording areas of
archeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use
sites.Work closely with a Field Director/Supervisor to make
technical recommendations for cultural resources management.Collect
field data.Participate in field reconnaissance surveys (linear and
block type)Assist in archaeological impact
assessments.Archaeological monitoringExcavations.QualificationsYour
Capabilities and CredentialsA Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or
Archaeology is required.If you are an entry level position,
previous cultural resource management experience is not
required.Participation in an archaeological field school is seen as
an asset.Field work may include exposure to the elements including
inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up
