We are hiring a Loan Processor to assist in managing our pipeline and support our originating and processing teams.Client Direct Mortgage is a nation-wide direct lender and innovative mortgage company expanding its Processing team. Our focus is to provide borrowers competitive rates, fast-closings, and excellent customer service.Let us tell you about our ideal Loan Processor---.You are excited to help borrowers with one of the biggest loans they take out in their life, you're up to date on the mortgage industry, regulations, and guidelines, and a skilled communicator with superb leadership and organization skills.You can process a residential mortgage loan file from start to finish in your sleep, but you have been looking for a team you can grow with and expand your opportunities in the mortgage industry. You naturally possess a sense of urgency, and look for ways to improve process and procedures.This is an in-office position in Walnut Creek, CA. This is not a remote position.You'll support the team by:

• Review all loan documentation for completeness and consistency with original information as indicated on initial loan application. Assist in managing all initial loan submissions and conditional approval pipeline to ensure loan files progress through the pipeline in a
• timely manner.
• Assist processing team that prepares all applicable third-party file documentation, including regulatory disclosures. Work alongside that team as they order preliminary title reports, appraisals and flood certifications in a timely manner. Review credit reports and verify other documentation as required.
• Consistently communicate loan processing information to the Originating, Disclosing, Processing, and Closing teams.
• Maintaining a positive work environment by developing helpful relationships with additional team stakeholders to ensure a smooth loan process.
• Reaching out to clients when necessary to update them on progress or changes to their loan file.
• Maintaining daily and weekly status reports on all files and consults regularly with the Processing team and management on potential challenges.Experience
  • High school diploma is required - Bachelor's degree is desired
  • Working knowledge of the mortgage industry, loan products and programs (FHLMC, FNMA, VA, FHA, Jumbo, etc.), and state and federal regulations and laws
  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage operations
  • 1+ years of experience on a high volume loan processing team
  • Superb organization, and time management skills are required
  • Technology savvy and able to get up to speed on new systems quicklySalary
