Job Description:
The Field Project Coordinator works collaboratively with all
stakeholders, partners closely with the VP of Center of Innovation
& Wellbeing to oversee pilot and grant-funded initiatives. Share
your passion for wellness technology and teaching that assists our
senior residents to embrace current technologies that promote
"living well and aging well". This new position will focus on
developing training activities, and volunteer management focused on
direct community engagement. You will coordinate equipment and
technology implementation, develop training curriculum and serve as
a Super User of technology-enabled health and wellness
applications. Work independently, remote and 30-60% Bay Area
travel; office is in Walnut Creek, CA. Apply with your resume and

- Independently organize training opportunities for senior
communities
- Develop curriculum and lesson plans relevant to project
activities
- Support the coordination of equipment installation at community
project locations, including on-site training, purchasing, and
equipment deployment; serve as a resource for ad hoc training
necessary throughout the project.
- Develop and execute project plans that include:
- research and project justification;
- the design and implementation of outreach strategies to recruit
community participants (including staff members);
- training and adoption; and
- project evaluation
- Ensure the achievement and success of project milestones
- Recruit and manage volunteers to support project
activities
- Develop and oversee data collection and analysis for project
evaluation
- Produce progress reports, presentations, or other materials,
and ensure they are promptly submitted
- Maintain appropriate relations with vendors to ensure adherence
to project plans
- Provide facilitation and other community engagement activities
to support the transition within the communities to
technology-enabled health and wellness
- Provide a leadership or supportive role in the design and
implementation of team-based activities, projects and events
- Promote positive and fun working relationships with team
members, community collaborators, and business partners. Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and writing
skills
- Project leadership skills necessary to design, implement and
monitor complex, multiple and multi- dimensional projects
- Designing training curriculum and teaching technology to
community members and employees
- Preparing reports, project plans, and presentations
- Develop strategic direction and parcel objectives into
short-term tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, work independently under pressure
with minimal direction.
- Well-rounded technology skills in using desktop computers,
laptops, the Internet, and mobile devices with a strong interest in
understanding and using technology to support health, wellness, and
engagement. Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; Masters desirable
- Prior experience working in a "community collaborative"
project
- 2+ years of project coordination or classroom training
presentations
- Ability to travel 30-60% throughout the Bay Area and some
overnights
- Valid California Drivers' License with insurance FPC2022
