Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support patient care and cardiac monitoring under RN supervision in a busy healthcare setting located in El Dorado Hills, CA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to patient well-being by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), performing vital task monitoring, and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret monitor strip print-outs, and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team. Assist patients with nutrition, hygiene, elimination, and mobility under RN delegation. Collect specimens and assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures. Maintain equipment and understand physician procedures and treatments. Educate patients clearly about exams and procedures to reduce anxiety. Mentor new nursing assistants to build their confidence and skills. Ensure completion of routine and priority departmental tasks within set timeframes. Qualifications or Desired Experience: Valid BLS certification required. EKG certification (CCT or CRAT) mandatory. CNA certification highly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience. Demonstrated ability to work under RN supervision, exercise sound clinical judgment, and communicate effectively. Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This contract position provides a fulfilling role supporting patient care in an established healthcare environment.
