Experience: --- 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months. --- Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. --- 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Local & travel allowed. Candidates living --- COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. --- Flu vaccination required after submission. Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately MS for Neuro Stroke Unit 2+ years of General Med Surg experience - Required Days of Orientation: 3-4 Dress Code: Scrubs - Any color. No denim. Professional appearance. Shoes: Non-skid, closed toe, athletic shoes are ok, must wear heel strap with clogs Floating: Travelers could float to 1-2 units in a 12 hr shift Travelers float first Scheduling: Self-Scheduling: No Weekend Requirements: Every other Call Requirements: No Holiday Requirements: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays. Winter holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Summer holidays are Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Patient Types / Common Diagnosis: Stable: Chest Pain, Heart Failure, Syncope, Asthma, Abdominal Pain or other Med Surg diagnosis. Medical Surgical Observation Patients Age Range: 14 yrs to 90+ yrs Magnet Hospital Experience with monitored patients and a variety of medical/surgical conditions 2 references from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support) --- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
