Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: --- 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months. --- Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. --- 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Local & travel allowed. Candidates living --- COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: RNs only: Cannot have a license that is on probation, suspended, or has board proceedings that are pending. Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately Neuro Stroke Unit Med Surg Must have NIHSS or willing to obtain Dress Code: Scrubs/color: Any color. No denim. Professional appearance Weekend Requirements: Every other Call Requirements: No Holiday Requirements: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays. Winter holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Summer holidays are Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Patient Population (Diagnoses): Stable: Chest Pain, Heart Failure, Syncope, Asthma, Abdominal Pain or other Med Surg diagnosis. Medical Surgical Observation Patients Age Range: 14 yrs to 90+ yrs 2 references from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission Certifications: --- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) --- BLS (Basic Life Support)
