Job Description:In the Behring Pavilion the Radiation Therapist delivers patient treatments in Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Therapist creates treatment devices, simulates patients, reviews treatment charts for accuracy, performs quality assurance tasks, and safely delivers radiation to the patient, The Radiation Therapist provides patient care that is consistent with the John Muir mission and vision. The Radiation Therapist is focused on high quality delivery of care.Education

• Completion of Radiation Therapy Technology Program - Accredited - Required
• Bachelor's Degree PreferredExperience
  • 2 years Healthcare - Radiation Oncology Technologist - PreferredCertifications/Licensure
    • RRT Registered Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required and
    • CDPH - Certified Radiologic Technologist Therapeutic Radiologic Technology - Required and
    • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - RequiredSkills
      • Excellent written and oral communication
      • Use of Epic and other patient data systems
      • Ability to direct patient care
