Job Description:The Clinical Supervisor is a professional RN who assists in planning, decision making, and developing the nursing staff. The RN Charge Nurse is effective in managing and coordinating the performance of the unit through interdisciplinary collaboration. As a member of the healthcare team he/she contributes to a collaborative working relationship with the nursing unit, toward the end of providing high quality patient care, ensuring patient safety, and a positive patient experience. The RN Charge Nurse supports the mission, vision, and values of John Muir Health. Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing - Required Master's Degree Accredited School of Nursing - Preferred Experience: 3 years of Acute Dialysis experience - Required 1 year Nursing - Charge Nurse or Team Lead - Required 1 year Nursing - Progressive Leadership Experience - Preferred Additional Experience: 1 year Nursing - Medical Acute Nursing - Preferred 1 year Outpatient dialysis experience - Preferred Certifications/Licensures: RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center Required within 2 years of hire and Must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for Magnet demographics Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must demonstrate competency to care for patients undergoing hemodialysis Must demonstrate competency to care for patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis Must demonstrate competency in the care of patients with fistulas, grafts and Central Vascular Catheter Work Shift:12.0 - 05:00 - 17:30 (United States of America) Pay Range:$84.21 - $113.47 Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
