Buyerlink is searching for a highly motivated Senior Director of Finance and Controller to lead and support our accounting function and assist in shaping the future of our financial strategy. As the Senior Director of Finance and Controller, you will play a critical role in our company and have the unique opportunity to shape and build our finance team. Based in our headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with a talented team of five. This is an opportunity to make a real impact and be a part of something truly special.The individual occupying this position will be based at our corporate headquarters located in Walnut Creek, California.Your responsibilities and duties include:

• Oversight of the Accounting team to provide accuracy and integrity of all general ledger accounts, preparation of month-end closings and annual financial statements, reports, performance metrics, and related analysis.
• Provide coaching, development, and mentorship to the accounting team.
• Design and implement appropriate policies/procedures, internal controls, and accounting systems to handle company expansion.
• Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
• Direct and interface with external auditors and outside accounting firms on the preparation of audit reports and tax provisions.
• Create and interpret relevant reports, schedules, and special projects.
• Be an active member of the Buyerlink Senior Leadership team to advise on the financial implications of business activities to ensure the company is on track for sustainable growth and success.
• Ensure that accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.Your experience and education:
  • CPA Certification required
  • Big four experience or regional accounting firm experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university. A master's degree in a field of business or other advanced degrees is desirable.
  • Technical Industry experience is preferred.
