the following, other duties may be assigned)Do you have a proven
track record of developing successful energy projects? Do you have
experience leading deal teams and bringing projects from concept to
close?Job ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Development Director
provides market intelligence, serves as a subject matter expert,
and leads the team in identifying, developing, implementing and
closing structured transactions relating to the purchase and sale
of strategic projects in geothermal power generation, carbon
capture sequestration, battery storage and other clean energy
initiatives. -
- Oversee business development activities to identify, develop
and close new energy projects opportunities.
- Develop and implements strategies that support the company's
development goals, the organization's strategy and vision.
- Oversee proposal development, due diligence, and customer and
executive-level presentations
- Lead the negotiations for transaction agreements with
customers/ counterparties.
- Establish and develop industry relationships to advance market
presence and project development.
- Leads the coordination with internal and external resources to
achieve land acquisition, permitting, interconnection/transmission,
and other project development milestones, with accountability for
budget and schedule. -Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or
related field; MBA preferred or an equivalent combination of
education and/or experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success developing new
energy projects, complex contract negotiations and bringing deals
to close.
- Expert knowledge of the regional project development
landscape
- Leadership skills, advanced business acumen and strong
negotiation skills required.
- Experienced, innovative professional. -Salary InformationSalary
range $177,395 to $226,179Additional Calpine Information
