Job Description:

We have an immediate need for a Managing Director of Financial Analysis in our Walnut Creek Corporate HQ.The Financial Analysis Manager (FAM) is responsible for the financial analysis primarily related to the loan portfolio. This analysis includes monitoring of the Bank's credit quality and risk in the Bank's loan portfolio. Activities include monitoring and reporting on the credit quality of the Bank's Loan Portfolio to assess the credit risk in the loan portfolio and to determine the adequacy of the allowance for loan losses, Purchase Credit Impaired loans and monitoring the mark-to-market coverage. The FAM is responsible for related SEC reporting requirements. The FAM is also responsible for working with the Bank's external vendor (Abrigo) with the implementation and transition to CECL. The FAM is also responsible for working with outside vendors to perform relevant due diligence and valuation analysis pertaining to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and purchased loan asset pools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the integrity of the Bank's Credit Risk.
• Responsible for the Bank's credit loss methodology and reserves.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of loan data to ensure accurate risk profile to effectively manage risk.
• Responsible for vendor oversight for modeling tools for ALLL model including CECL implementation, Loan Stress Test, Loan Concentration risk management, Exit Pricing Model (Financial Statement Fair Value Disclosures)
• Assists the CFO with ensuring lending activities are properly reported and collaborate primarily with Credit Administration department.
• While working with the Chief Financial Officer, assist with performing due diligence and financial valuation pertaining to the Bank's Mergers & Acquisition activities.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with staff and executive management.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:BA or BS in a related field recommendedRequired Knowledge: Knowledge of Corporate Loan Portfolio Management and Credit Administration policies and procedures. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking capacity at similar or larger size financial institutions. Experience with Abrigo (aka Sageworks), FIS Horizon H360, IBM Cognos-Business Analytics, Excel VBA recommendedSkills/Abilities: Excellent communication, loan portfolio analysis, mathematics, modelling, and computer skills. Strong understanding of CECL, credit loss modeling, adverse market conditions, and accounting and banking regulations.
