Job Description:

I am seeking an additional part-time experienced Personal Lines Account Manager for my Professional Independent and growing agency. However, to be considered for our Protection Team, you must have the same qualities of my current Protection Team: highly experienced, personable, professional, very knowledgeable, motivated, dependable, articulate, enthusiastic, very high energy, well-organized, detailed oriented with solid administrative and sales skills, technology oriented, able to set and achieve measurable goals, excellent people skills, intelligent and computer literate and with a do-it-now type attitude. All of these are a must in the person(s) to be hired. But there is more.The person that will be considered for this position must have a current California Property & Casualty Insurance License in good standing.The position also requires experience at an independent insurance agency office working as a Personal Lines Account Manager or Personal Lines Department Manager and solid familiarity with some or all of the following carrier's products: AIG Private Client Group, Chubb, Nationwide, Nationwide Private Client, Encompass, PURE, Safeco, Travelers, AXA Insurance Company, and earthquake insurance provided by GeoVera, ICAT, Palomar Specialty and QBE Insurance Company.The position includes but is not limited to account management and selling additional insurance protection for existing clients.The successful candidate will able to demonstrate from current and prior work experience strong personable and professional skills and outstanding client service skills dealing with clients for their needs for auto, home, earthquake, scheduled items, fire, flood, personal umbrella insurance.This is not required, but as a plus you also are familiar with the following types of business insurance: BOP's, Worker's Compensation, Business Auto, Commercial General Liability.We don't just "sell" insurance. We recommend to our prospects and clients coverage options after understanding what they want and need and find where they can qualify for the insurance products that best fit their needs and budget after we do a needs analysis and examine existing property and liability policies.We do not focus on price only.We do not provide any free phone quotes.We consider our professional job to be Trusted Insurance Advisors.Additional skills, such as strong speaking, writing or computer skills are required.You will be using many different software programs in addition to our agency management Vertafore's Agency Platform and AMS360, and software such as Word, Excel and Paperport. My insurance agency uses AMS360.This is not a job for a robot type employee who will be doing repetitive tasks that are mindless.This job requires knowledge from the start about the insurance products we offer, how insurers underwrite for these products and you know from work experience and knowledge how to figure out how they best fit each client's needs and know who to use the software to get to the answers.Only those seriously committed to being a dedicated member of a fast-paced, professional team-oriented organization, a forward-thinking culture should apply.This position is a part time position with a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.Office location: Walnut Creek, CA.
