Job Description:

Civil Engineer III, Moffatt & Nichol, Walnut Creek, CA . Conceptualize projects and bridge designs (preliminary and final). Plan, develop, implement, and control projects. Maintain knowledge of Caltrans and local agency design standards and criteria, practices, and policies. Write and coordinate bridge-related technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and proposals. Collaborate with all members of the bridge group and all company disciplines. Conduct bridge inspections. Assist in supervision of site investigations. Lead structural design tasks and manage bridge projects. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $116,438/yr. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience. Must have at least three (3) years' experience with/in:

• SAP, CSI Bridge, CTBridge, AutoCAD, and MicroStation;
• Bridge analysis;
• Plan, design, and prepare construction drawings and contract documents for bridge projects; and
• Knowledge of local Department of Transportation (any State), local municipal, and county design standards and criteria, practices, and policies.
