Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Design and prepare engineering plans
  • Prepare project technical reports
  • Review project design criteria
  • Gather data and design information needed for project design
  • Perform field work to collect data and verify existing design conditions
  • Perform design calculations directed by senior engineers
  • Oversee and review work of staff engineers
  • Prepare project quantities and estimates
  • Backcheck plans and design calculations
  • Attend project meetings
  • Coordinate design with members of the design team as required
  • Coordinate with public and utility agencies
  • Assist in research for potential project pursuits *LI-MO1

    Required Qualifications
    • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
    • P.E. Certification
    • 5+ years of engineering experience
    • Experience developing construction plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates
    • Experience with low-impact development design
    • Experience in drainage, erosion control, and stormwater treatment design and permitting
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD
    • Knowledge of Civil 3D Preferred Qualifications
      • M.S. in Civil Engineering

The expected compensation range for this position is $85,400.00 - $122,000.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
