You will work with close guidance and supervision to execute tasks and support Lead Engineers and Project Managers working on related tasks and projects.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately enter Bill of Material (BoM) requirements provided by various Gas Engineers into SAP order management systemQuality check BoM for completeness, accuracy, and proper facility locationProvide timely communication and feedback to various stakeholder groups regarding project BoMPrioritize multiple requests according to complexity and urgency, while meeting organizational goals and commitmentsEnsure materials requirements are closed out appropriately in SAP, upon project completionInitiate the process for purchase requisitions and close them in ARIBAProcess the goods receipts in accordance with SOX complianceQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsAbility to analyze and combine information from different sources and use logic to reach appropriate conclusions as needed to perform at the job levelCompetency in planning and prioritizing work to meet commitmentsKnowledge of SAP Production Management and Plant Maintenance Order ManagementKnowledge and prior experience with ARIBA / any other Contract Management SoftwareProficiency in Microsoft office suiteFamiliarity with various gas pipeline materialsCompetency in knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvementStrong desire to learn and work in a team environment.This position will be based out of Stantec's Walnut Creek office - remote work from Northern California may be considered.Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.Prior to employment with Stantec, this position will require the successful passing of a drug screen.Education and Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma. Associate degree preferred of a technical school diploma/certificate in engineering or construction with 0-3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of academic training and experience.Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time.
