This position is advertised for any Southern California, Bay Area, or Central California office locations. We want to discuss with you why this is a great opportunity!Your Key ResponsibilitiesDay to day management of the highway and roadway design team operations in CaliforniaEffective planning & communication skills with team membersManage the design of highways, interchanges, streets, and roadways, to meet local, state and federal requirementsPlanning, analysis and design of projects, scheduling staff, review of work, training and mentoring staff, proposal preparation, project presentation, project management, fiscal management, and contract negotiationsDevelop project management plans for projects; establishes goals and objectives for unique and complex projects.Responsible for successfully establishing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.Conducts and/or coordinates quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects and facilitates independent technical review projects by others.Involved in the permitting process of projects, which may require meeting with clients, contractors, interested stakeholder parties, reviewing agency personnel.Assists business leaders in project revenue forecasting.Performs business development/application tasks and collaborates with staff to increase project wins and develop long lasting client relationships.
