Our flexible culture allows our professionals to live a balanced lifestyle between their work responsibilities and personal commitments.Accounting Advisory Overview:BPM's Business & Outsourcing Services team provides comprehensive financial and business advisory services to private, owner-run companies, including family-owned businesses and start-ups. We do this by providing outsource accounting services, cash flow modeling, financial reporting. We also represent companies in securing loans and financing, develop succession plans and exit strategies, and support company growth through tax planning, risk management, system and processes optimization and merger and acquisition integration.In addition, as part of the Advisory Service Line, our Business Enterprise Services Team (BEST) works with clients on their ERP system implementation needs, introducing and utilizing technology, to streamline their accounting processes and procedures.You Have (Requirements):BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, MIS or Information Systems degree (Accounting preferred)Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance1 to 2 years of accounting, accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience (personal assistant, executive assistant experience may be considered comparable)Familiar with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks, Xero, Expensify, Concur, NetSuite and Sage Intacct experience preferredExcellent attention to detail, problem solver & intellectually curiousAn understanding of professional services and a commitment to the client experienceOutstanding organization skills and the ability to utilize a wide range of accounting and internal administrative technologiesThe ability to communicate both verbally and written (via text, and email) in a sincere, concise, and professional manner.The desire to be a team player but be able to work independently with a solution-oriented approachAdhere to the highest level of confidentialityYou Will (Responsibilities):Accounts payable (utilizing cutting paper checks, filling out wire forms)Research and resolve issues or discrepancies with clients' accounts, bill pay or invoicesRespond to client requests and inquiriesManage vendor relationships, requests, and paymentsMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to datePerform monthly reconciliations of client bank accounts and credit cardsGAAP AccountingJournal entries and Accrual AccountingPreparation of financial reporting packagesParticipate in special projects as needed$70,000 The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.
